		Hi, I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Freiburg. I am working in Wolfram Burgards group for Autonomous Intelligent Systems. After studying at the University of Freiburg and the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, I received my diploma in computer science (Dipl.-Inf.) from the University of Freiburg in spring 2007. At the moment, I am a member of the DFG-funded SFB/TR8 Spatial Cognition and I am working on robot navigation among deformable objects. In this context, we are interested in the autonomous acquisition of 3D models including deformation parameters, physical simulation of object deformations, and efficient planning techniques.
