In 2008 I received my PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Germany) under the supervision and evaluation of Wolfram Burgard and Aleš Leonardis. In 2004 I received a M.Sc. in Applied Computer Science from the same university. In 1997 I got a M.Eng. in Computer Science from the University of Alicante (Spain).

My current research focuses on mobile robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in general.
