I am a postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva) in the Robotics, Perception and Real Time Group, at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). I am working on perception and robotics.

In 2008 I received my PhD in computer science from the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (Germany). My work was about environment recognition with mobile robotics. It was developed in the Autonomous Intelligent Systems Lab under the supervision of Prof. Wolfram Burgard.

I was a 2008 fellow of the Canon Foundation in Europe for a research stay at Hasegawa Laboratory and Kurazume Laboratory. Kyushu University, Japan.

During 1999-2000 I was a predoctoral researcher at the Bioengineering Institute, University Miguel Hernández (Spain). I worked on neuroscience and natural vision.

My current research areas include machine learning, mobile robotics, artificial intelligence, brain computer interfaces, and neurosciences.

My Erdös number is at most 5.
