• Because of the attendance of Prof. Riedmiller at the RoboCup German Open tournament in Hannover, lecturing will only start in the second week of teaching. Therefore, the first lecture will take place on Tuesday, the 28th of April.

• Overview:

Syllabus: This lecture gives an introduction to the field of machine learning. It focuses on basic machine learning concepts, methods, and algorithms. Among other topics the lecture covers version spaces, decision tree learning, inductive logic programming, artificial neural networks, instance-based learning and case-based reasoning.
