  • Overview:

    • The data produced in various application areas increase rapidly and call for real applications of machine learning and data mining. In this seminar we will examine a number of applications of various diciplines, including but not restricted to chemoinformatics, bioinformatics, economics, physics,... Within the seminar, we will have a detailed look into some problems in this area are solved using ML and DM. The seminar is co-located with the practical: Data Mining the practice, where we will investigate real applications of DM and ML to problems from a variety of areas supplied by a number of researchers within the university.
