Born: 1979 in Kaiserslautern
Education: January 2006 Diploma in Computer Science at the Universität Karlsruhe.
October 1999 - January 2006 studies in Computer Science at the Universität Karlsruhe.
Majors: Logic and Theoretical Computer Science, Cryptography. Minor: Algebra.
May 2005 - December 2005 DAAD student at the Institut de Recherche Mathématique de Rennes, Université de Rennes 1.
Professional Position: Since May 2007, Ph.D. student at the Chair for Parallel and Distributed Computing at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg.

Research Interests:
  • Theoretical and experimental studies of online and approximation algorithms.
  • Cryptographic systems and protocols.
