Tayfun GürelI have a B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineeering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey (2002) and a M.Sc. degree in Applied Computer Science from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany (2005). I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Machine Learning Lab and at Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience, Freiburg. I am interested in machine learning and computational neuroscience, focusing on the applications of the former in the latter. More specifically, I am working on machine learning methods to obtain models of neural systems that describe structure-activity relations and stimulus-response relations. My Publications
