Teacher Training
There are various options for studying Computer Science as part of teacher training: as a major subject (e.g. in combination with Mathematics), as a subsidiary subject (in various 3-subject constellations) or as an extension subject. Computer Science can also be chosen as Applied Mathematics in the Mathematics state examination – advanced or non-advanced.
Computer Science as a major subject qualifies to teach the subject at all high school levels. Computer Science as a subsidiary subject qualifies to teach the subject at the lower grade and junior high level.
