- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biology or Bioinformatics
- Good GPA
- Good English proficiency (native speaker or TOEFL 580 / 237 / 92-93)
- German proficiency (DSH-2, Test DaF 4 or evquivalent)
- If applicable: GRE subject test in computer science and/or biology
