Soccer Robots play successfully at German Open 2009[2009-04-30] - Winning the simulation league and becoming runner-up in the Middle Size League is again a very successful result of the Brainstormers, the robot soccer team of the Machine Learning Lab, lead by Prof. Martin Riedmiller. The team is supported by an industrial partner, Harting, Espelkamp, who built and financed a next generation robot in cooperation with the university group. The German Open 2009 was part of the Hannover Fair Industry and took part from April, 20th to 24th.
