 Robotic Soccer

In the project "Learning Humanoid Robots", I participate at the development of soccer playing humanoid robots.
They compete in the RoboCup Humanoid League.

From 1998 to 2002 I have been part of the RoboCup team FU-Fighters at FU Berlin.
The team competed successfully in the SmallSize and the MidSize league.
I was involved in all aspects of the project, including vision, behavior control, mechanical and electrical design, and wireless communication.
One of our main results was the development of a hierarchical architecture for reactive behaviors that can handle the complexity of the real-time control of multiple agents in the dynamic soccer environment.
